Armstrong Model Range: Children's Paddle boats

For over fifty years we have supplied our Children's Paddle Boats to Boating Lakes all over the UK. They are made from Marine Grade Aluminium using TIG welding techniques. Since their inception the design features have evolved in response to comments from our customers and new manufacturing methods and materials.

They are offered in two lengths and other sizes are perfectly possible and should be the subject of special enquiry. The aim with these designs is a product that is sturdy, rugged, relatively light and able to stand up to the labours of heavy use. Benefits:

• Flat bottom for maximum stability and safety.
• Lightweight high strength construction.
• Minimal maintenance aluminium alloy to BS5083.

Features:

• The bottom is protected by skegs of hard wearing recycled plastic.
• The Paddles are carried on cranked shafts both being made of stainless steel. they rotate inside oil-less bearings either side of the paddle boxes.
• A protective rope fender is carried around the paddle-boxes and stern.
• The hulls are normally painted on the outside vertical faces to the colours of customer's choice.
• Marine ply internal floor between the aluminium thwarts.

 Optional Extras:

• Buoyancy tanks incorporate into the thwarts for use on "not so shallow" boating lakes.
• Transporting and storage trailers.
• Shore side storage frames and general marine chandlery.
