Armstrong Model Range: Row Punts
As part of our policy in evolving our design range, in 1996 we developed the 2.4m
(8ft) Row-Punt after having seen the 'near perfect shape’ on the lake of the Garsington Estate in
1996. This Row-Punt was developed especially for those who have a few acres of water on their
property.
Subsequently many other applications needing a light strong hull emerged, such as for the
emergency services in flood situations, shooting & fishing syndicates, light general maintenance of waterways
and access to islands. The Row Punt's specially sculpted bow is most effective in controlling the bow wave and
at the same time preventing the bow from digging down when slowing off the plane.
Lastly our most recent ‘baby’ ... the Flood-Rescue-Punt for urban emergencies.. The range
has features borrowed from our Work-Boat & Fish-Punt designs (available in at least six sizes up to
20ft) also made from marine grade aluminium. Where a possible application
requires a craft of more substantial construction, ask for
details of the alternatives described in our other sections. We believe we have the experience to
advise on the right craft for the job and to be able to incorporate special features any customer may
need.
