Armstrong Model Range: Work Boats
AWB10/4 on trailer
For over forty years our Transportable Work-Boats have been supplied to customers all
over the UK which have included water undertakings like the Environment Agency, five of the Royal Parks, local
authorities, fisheries and estates of all kinds. They are made from marine grade aluminium using TIG welding
techniques. Since inception the design features have evolved in response to comments from our customers and new
manufacturing methods & materials.
Our range is now offered with two sizes in terms of beam width, with overall length being
the other determining factor. Other sizes are perfectly possible and should be the subject of special
enquiry. The aim with these designs is a product that is sturdy, rugged, relatively light and able to stand
up to the labours of heavier use, compared to those used purely for recreational purposes.
Thus as alternatives, refer to the Row-Punts & Row-Boats described in our other
sections. We believe we have the experience to advise on the right craft for any job and to be able to incorporate
any special features our customers may need.
